I cross-posted a version of this to popularfengshui.  I just want to know if there are guidelines for the placement of  clocks in the home.  Thank you!

Clock placement will depend on a) the element, b) the sentimentality and c) how noisy it is d) all of the above.

I used to have a clock that was mostly made out of wood, it was very traditional looking and it was given to my exhusband and I as a wedding present. It was incredibly loud and obnoxious even when we dulled the chime. I ended up putting it in my Wealth & Properity Gua because it was predominantly made of wood and all the moving parts on it made it very yang.
