where to put sex books...? [Apr. 21st, 2007|04:39 pm]
classical or traditional fengshui

[mood |awake]

...by that, I mean the instructional ones about "have hot sex with your spouse every night" or "sex magic and love in your relationship" and "one million goofy but fun postures" and taoist sex or whatever, NOT fiction or erotica or porn...I have had those books in the romance corner for years, here and in the previous house, and often the relationships have had tons of good sex, but not enough else...and I'm not into that stuff at the expense of love etc. ...so, where would you put them, or what would you do?

I would put them in the NE-Knowledge Gua and flank them with stone bookends to keep the Wood element from getting out of control.

...no matter what direction the house faces, or conditional upon other stuff...? I think that looking in the house faces north, a teeny bit north-east...

Nope, it doesn't matter what direction the house faces and it's not conditional upon other stuff. Map the footprint of your house on a piece of paper and set the lo shu square over it. I actually have a pie shaped one that's a bit more exact, but squares work fine. I generally start with the North and South first and then I mark the rest of the guas on the foot print. Find Northeast and viola...you've got a home for the books. Also, because Northeast is at the opposite of the lo shu spectrum of Southwest, those books will be a nice balance to the Love and Marriage gua.
